I choose to major in nursing because I grew up in a family that has some genetic illnesses and my sick family members always have complained about what pain they experience they often say it’s frustrating to explain a painful feeling to someone who can’t feel their pain, so it was hard for my family to obtain a cure for their bodily concerns and my younger self wanted to help so badly and now is time time to do so; It is my time to make a difference in the medical field with patients and the results with bodily concerns. Professionally, I haven’t obtained any nursing experience, but growing up, I would help my blind grandmother to the restroom or make sure she was consuming the correct medication at the correct time.
