Balancing Navy Officer Responsibilities While Being a Nurse

LTJG Crystal Harris is a Nurse Corp Officer in the US navy who is currently working at Navy Medical Center Portsmouth.
She Graduated from ODU with a bachelors of science in Nursing and recently received her board certification to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse.

LTJG Crystal Harris was adamant about her want to serve others and better their lives. She has many roles as she is both an officer and a nurse. So, she has to juggle guiding those below her and taking care of patients.
From this interview I learned that no matter what field of nursing I choose to go into, it will require a lot of sacrifice. As I also intend to follow the same path as LTJG Harris I will also have to learn how to guide others while not losing sight of patient care.
