As a Biomedical Sciences Major with a concentration in Pre-Health, cell biology is very important to my field of study. There have been a lot of new things that I have learned through this class that I truly believe will help me throughout my future career. I specifically want to get into pediatric psychiatry, so the entire chapter on cell communication will become very useful. Cell communication and cell signaling is important when understanding how cells communicate in different mental illnesses and psychiatric disorders. Although I picked that specific topic, there is information from every chapter that I will be able to take and translate to the medical field in the future as well as other classes prior to then.
