2. Political – Motives related to political reasons are significant in the context of cybercrime. Political motives may have broader implications.
3. Recognition- Seeking recognition in the online world is a huge motive. Cybercriminals may engage in cybercrimes to get their name our there.
4. Revenge – The motive of revenge can drive individuals to commit cybercrimes as a form of retaliating.
5. Entertainment – This ranks lower because it is not as common for people to commit cybercrimes for fun.
6. Multiple Reasons – This ranks lower because it encompasses a broad range of motivations. This is hard to determine if this is a good motive.
7. Boredom – While boredom can be a factor, this is considered less significant compared to the other motives on the list. This is not as powerful as a motivator.
