Data Breaches are a massive problem in the cyber landscape, and have been for quite some time now. This is made apparent by the website known as Data Breach Chronology, where they can display data of data breaches based on the time frame you select, with information such as the kind of data breach, what states it occurs in more, the highest breached companies and more. With such detailed and accessible information to choose from, researchers will have a fairly easy time to locate information. And with time zone information, they are easily able to identify things such as which years had worse instances of breaches, which years or decades were worse, etc. The only issue with the site is that It doesn’t have consistent information for anything before 2005, which is when the site first made its debut.
