Exploring Culture by Chandler Anderson Reflection

This semester, I learned a lot about the culture and traditions of Mexico. Mexico’s Independence Day is September 16. They dance, eat, and use the colors of their flag (red, white, and green) to decorate. Mexico has ancient Mayan civilizations that attract many tourists to the country every year. The descendants of the Mayans follow the traditions of their ancestors. It was insightful to learn about their way of life. With the knowledge I have acquired from this semester in class and in Aventuras, I have a sense of appreciation for the Mexican culture.
