I was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania and lived there until I was 11 years old. I have 3 sisters and a dog. In 2016 we moved to Aurora, Illinois. It was difficult relocating and saying goodbye to my friends at a young age. I finished middle school there and made lifelong friendships. I only got to finish half of my freshman year of high school in Illinois. In 2020, when the pandemic hit, I moved to Midlothian, Virginia. I went through the same process of making new friends except it was more challenging due to the climate at the time. My high school years passed in a blur. By the time I was a junior, 2 of my sisters already graduated from college, and my other sister was just starting. I chose to attend ODU because of the programs. For a long time, I was undecided because I had no clue what I wanted to major in. I have many hobbies such as cooking, making music, sewing, and painting. Despite this, I wasn’t sure what career path would best fit me. I took multiple computer classes in high school learning Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I talked with family members in the Cybersecurity field and did my own research. I realized then I wanted to pursue Cybersecurity.
