My responses in comparative to those of my partner’s are exactly the same. I found our responses to be very similar and I think this is many due to our upbringing. We are both from a very conservative area where a lot of traditions and gender stereotypes are still very present. Gender stereotypes are so prevalent in my hometown that we just had our first women because president of our local bank. This in any other town would typically be no big deal because its normal but where I’m from people were general upset because it was a women or happy for change. I think when answering these questions were answered in who traditionally held this sort of occupation. My answers for this assignment sort of shocked myself as I would like to become a doctor.
