While attending ODU, it was imperative for me to seize the opportunities given to me, while residing and working on-campus. From engaging in extracurricular activities to gaining work experience, I have been exposed to a great deal of experience, which enhanced my engineering, professional, and social skills that would be relevant to my career. Attending the organizations on-campus helped me to be more interested in the realm of STEM and have the feel of what it is to collaborate and work effectively to complete engineering-based projects. Volunteering and having a job taught me responsibility and gave me the opportunity to grow and be a leader. This facilitated my college experience and I was very fortunate to obtain these experiences to help me learn and grow to be an aspiring engineer and leader to society.
