1. Am I an entrepreneur?
For me this is the first time I’ve ever asked myself this question. At first my answer would be no
as my idea of an entrepreneur is someone who creates a product and or offer a service. But
during my search on what is a entrepreneur I came across a blog post from University of
Michigan college of engineering on the 4 types of entrepreneurships. In this post it goes over
the 4 types of entrepreneurships which are small businesses, scalable startups,
intrapreneurship, and social entrepreneurship. In the post it goes over the skills and mindset a
entrepreneurial they identify the skills as having the ability to learn from your failures, identify
and make the most of opportunities, and be successful no matter the challenges faced. After
reading the blog post, I would say that none of the definitions match me but the skills and
mindset of an entrepreneur matches me. So, to answer the question if having the mindset can
make me an entrepreneur then yes, I am a entrepreneur if not then no.
2. What is success? Success could mean anything from anyone. The dictionary definition of
success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose or the good or bad outcome of an
undertaking an example of this could be progressing your career your Nasa launching a rocket.
For me success is when I accomplished any goal of mine small or big.
3. Am I a self-starter? How well do I follow through on my ideas? I would say that I’m a self-starter
has don’t need to push or motivated by anyone or anyone outside of myself. When it comes to
following through on my ideas is another situation as I usually need to be motivated by
someone else to continue especially if it seems far from accomplishing or gets too be difficult.

5. What is my role in this ecosystem? As of right now I will say that I don’t play a significant role
in this ecosystem. My only role right now is to finish my degree and start my career in
cybersecurity. To become a vital part of my community and play a bigger role in this ecosystem.
