1. Why do entrepreneurs get in trouble with the law? Entrepreneurs are often driven by their passion
and ambition to succeed, but sometimes this drive can lead them into trouble with the law. One of the
main reasons entrepreneurs get in trouble is due to their eagerness to cut corners and take risks. They
may engage in unethical practices such as fraud or insider trading, which can result in legal
consequences. Additionally, entrepreneurs may fail to comply with regulations or laws that govern their
industry, leading to fines or even imprisonment. Another factor is the pressure to meet financial targets,
which can lead some entrepreneurs to engage in illegal activities like money laundering. In conclusion,
while entrepreneurship requires risk-taking and innovation, it’s important for entrepreneurs to operate
within legal boundaries to avoid getting into trouble with the law.
2. What does psychology have to do with marketing? Psychology plays a crucial role in marketing.
Understanding consumer behavior and decision-making processes is essential for creating effective
marketing strategies. Marketers use various psychological principles to influence consumer behavior,
such as the use of social proof, scarcity, and reciprocity. They also analyze consumer demographics and
psychographics to tailor their messaging and advertising to specific audiences. Additionally, psychology
helps marketers understand how consumers perceive brands and products, which can inform product
design and branding decisions.
3. What types of marketing sway my decisions? As someone who stays on the internet, I am
constantly bombarded with marketing messages from various sources. However, not all types of
marketing sway my decisions equally. I tend to be more influenced by marketing that is informative and
educational rather than pushy or manipulative. For example, when I am considering purchasing a new
product or service, I prefer to read reviews and compare features rather than being told what to buy.
4. How can I pitch ideas better? One way I could possibly pitch my ideas better would be to
understand and know how to tailor my message towards my targeted audience. It is good to learn how
to be clearer and more concise with my messaging and learn how incorporate how to fully engage with
my audience to keep their attention while also trying to be more relatable and engaging.
5. What are my strengths and weaknesses in pitching? My weakness when it comes to pitching any
idea or opinion is my inability to speaking up, clear, and concise as I tend to repeat myself, jumble my
words, and speak to low for people to hear. Another weakness is my ability to speak about subject
matter I’m familiar with without overloading someone with information and using technical jargon. My
strengths when it comes to pitching is I do hold the confidence to pitch any idea.
