The first social theory I related this letter to is structural theory. This theory states there are two classes being upper and lower class. I see the criminal in this letter as someone who perceives themselves as lower class with the victim as upper class. The other was structural functions. The economic theory I related to this was neoclassical theory, because of how it talks about how people have preferences on outcomes which both the company and criminal did. The second I related it to was monetarist theory because of how it relates to money and banking, how the victim to the crime was affected.
