I mainly get my sport news from social media. My phone is also set up so that any official news from my favorite teams (and other major news from other teams) will appear as a notification from various news outlets including ESPN and the Athletic. This is different from five years ago when I would look up sports news on the computer. That was my main method of gaining the latest on league and team happenings. I would keep a tab open all day and refresh every now and again when I was expecting news to break that day. It is hard to predict how things will change over the next five years in sports media. If I had to give it a shot in the dark, press conferences will probably stay virtual past COVID-19 to allow for more outlets from across the country or across the globe to join and contribute to the questioning.
