Journal 12-Speaking of Mistake of Law

I believe the five most serious violations are (not in order):
Sharing Passwords, Addresses, or Photos of Others
I believe that this is a serious violation because accessing private information without consent is illegal and morally wrong, along with posting it for others to see. Taking photos within private property without permission and posting it is also illegal if it is on property that is not yours.
Bullying and Trolling
Causing digital harm to another individual over the internet is seen as illegal and can even result in jail time. Cyberbullying is a serious violation because it can also result in mental health issues for the victims, and can even cause reputational issues for them as well. I believe that cyberbullying is morally wrong and disrespectful.
Collecting Information About People Younger Than 13
This is a very serious violation because it violates the Children’s Online Protection Act and is deemed disgusting based on morals. Collecting information about minors is also illegal too.I believe that this offense is morally wrong in general.
Illegal Searches on the Internet
Searching things on the internet that are flagged as illegal can result in a person’s account being monitored. Some things that can be searched result in a criminal offense as well. Having searched things that are deemed as illegal is a serious offense because it exposes people to information that can be used for harm if used.
Faking Your Identity Online
Faking your identity online can result in harm to a person’s reputation when it is used for cyberbullying the individual. It can be seen as a defamation of character when used for negative reasons and especially without permission. Lying about your age is also bad because it can lead minors into harmful situations.
