I have not
• often felt bad when you could not use social media?
I have not
• tried to spend less time on social media, but failed?
I have not
• regularly neglected other activities (e.g. hobbies, sport) because you wanted to use social media?
I have not. I enjoy hobbies and other activities far more than social media.
• regularly had arguments with others because of your social media use?
I have not
• regularly lied to your parents or friends about the amount of time you spend on social media?
I have
• often used social media to escape from negative feelings?
Only as a distraction
• had serious conflict with your parents, brother(s) or sister(s) because of your social media use?
I have not

Based on my completion of the survey. I have only done one of the individual questions asked. A few times I would go on social media to distract myself from situations that were either awkward or which made me feel uncomfortable. I believe that the items in the scale are efficient in determining the underlying issues regarding the use of social media. I believe that different patterns across the world are found because of different cultural morals. Cultural morals influence opinions and lifestyles about the feelings and usage of social media.
