CYSE 270 Course Reflection

During my time taking this class I learned a lot about how the OS Linux works and runs. CYSE 270 offers a solid course of study of Linux systems relevant to the topic of cybersecurity, giving the student practical experience working with key commands, file permissions, system administration, networking tools, and shell scripting. Over my time taking this course the learning experience that student gains from proficiency working within a Linux environment, learning to analyze system behavior, automate processes, and working from a set of command line tools that serve as the foundation for most security tasks. Although this course of study offers a rich development opportunity for technical skills, a number of issues make this a difficult task, especially for a person inexperienced with command line type work.
