Classroom management inside a classroom is like peanut butter is to jelly. They both go hand in hand and you can’t have one without the other. Throughout the semester I learned so much about classroom management and its importance in the classroom. Through the use of the Mursion lab and classroom lectures I was able to apply those learned skills to the students in the Mursion lab. It taught me that I must be persistent with whatever rules I implement in my classroom so all students will follow suit. It taught me that in the real world students will act out and it is my job to keep them under control. In my last Mursion lab students kept calling out and I kept reminding them about classroom rules and eventually all students began to raise their hand. Lastly, I learned that it is important to keep students engaged so everyone is allowed to participate and is eager to come to the next class such as having them read the board or even allowing them to ask questions. I learned that I will not have a successful classroom without the use of classroom management.
