My name is Chyna Taylor and I am a first generation college student. I believe that teachers are the future. Teachers are able to influence students daily lives and help enforce change in society. I believe that all students are capable of learning despite their different backgrounds and where they come from. Students should be able to learn in a way that is easy for them to understand so they can use these skills learned for the real world and in their everyday life.<\/p>\n

Good classroom leadership shows that I will be the authoritative figure but not the controlling figure. Meaning that I will allow my students to have a voice but also know who’s in charge. “charity of purpose and strong guidance.” ( Marzano et al., 2003, p. 42). Good classroom management in my classroom will be making lessons to fit all students needs, whether its going back and reviewing ir having a student in my classroom with special needs who needs the extra help. “Design curriculum to facilitate student learning.” ( Marzano et al., 2003). By doing these things I hope to have a successful and productive school year, below I will insert a picture how I would like to have my classroom set up on the first day of school. I preferred to have my students in groups rather than rows so they can work together, I also plan on having assigned seating so that all students can build relationships with people they may not know.\"\"<\/p>\n\n\n
