Why are you interested in cybersecurity technology?

I’m interested in cybersecurity because I am attracted to technology and
I found Cybersecurity to be the most interesting out of all the tech jobs. I don’t really like coding or developing software so I found cybersecurity to be a fit for me. Another reason I chose to get into CyberSecurity is because I know close family and friends who are in tech jobs with one being in Cybersecurity. So I have more knowledge of what to expect, and also I see CyberSecurity as reliable career and skill that will always keep me with a job and with money that I need to live a comfortable life. CyberSecurity has a variety of different positions that one could work and that creates opportunities to learn different areas of CyberSecurity which helps you develop more skills and knowledge. I find it interesting to learn about different malicious malware and attacks to figure out how to defend them. It is interesting to know how hackers and digital criminals are creating these attacks and how to defend them. I like that there is problem solving involved with some positions which I would like. I would like to understand how things work with all the different types of attacks and get paid to protect something valuable. With all that said, CyberSecurity also requires one to know about the technology that is being used such as computers, servers, and networks. It’s important to know how a computer functions and how each individual part makes up the system. To learn about networks and servers not only benefits me in CyberSecurity but as a individual in the tech field, this becomes a skill that can be used for myself and to teach others. So that is also useful knowledge that is obtain throughout the journey of learning about Cybersecurity. Technology is becoming more advanced and for me, knowledge and skills in technology will be most beneficial going into the future.
