I have no strengths when it comes to math. Probably the only strength I have is reading comprehension and being able to commit to spending time to read the chapter more than once so that I understand the concepts and formulas. I have many weaknesses, I would say that the one thing I think I was struggling with was just calculating properly. I tend to mix up numbers or operations. I can fix this by just taking my time and really trying hard to double check my work. My experiences in this course have just made me realize that I just need to practice more and try harder. I don’t know yet how the experiences in this class will impact my professional career, I think the main thing is teamwork and not being afraid to have someone double check what I’ve done and offer criticism when needed. The advise I would give someone who has registered for this course is to really use all the available material provided and practice. I think the most beneficial decision I made for this class was having two classmates for study sessions and going over material we’re unsure of. Definitely made a difference in how the material was understood. Looking back, the material isn’t really all that difficult, I think just reading through the chapter and taking adequate notes and practicing equations that are the most confusing will definitely help.
