CYSE 368

Cybersecurity Internship

This course allows students to volunteer to work in an agency related to cybersecurity. Students must volunteer for 50 hours per course credit and complete course assignments.

For fulfillment of this course, I was part of the partnership of the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative Coastal Virginia, Old Dominion University, and Valor Cyber Security.

As project Team Lead, my team members, three of us in total, were responsible for the assessment and evaluation of the local small business company We Insure Things CEO Logan Wease, in their cybersecurity posture.

We also reached out to local small businesses in the Hampton Roads community offering free cybersecurity assessments through the aforementioned partnership.
