Cybersecurity Internship<\/h1>\n

This course allows students to volunteer to work in an agency related to cybersecurity. Students must volunteer for 50 hours per course credit and complete course assignments.<\/p>\n

For fulfillment of this course, I was part of the partnership of the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative Coastal Virginia, Old Dominion University, and Valor Cyber Security.<\/p>\n

As project Team Lead, my team members, three of us in total, were responsible for the assessment and evaluation of the local small business company We Insure Things<\/em> CEO Logan Wease, in their cybersecurity posture.<\/p>\n

We also reached out to local small businesses in the Hampton Roads community offering free cybersecurity assessments through the aforementioned partnership.<\/p>\n
