National Society of Black Engineers

As Senator/Parliamentarian (2023-2024) and Interim President (2024-2025) of the Old Dominion University Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, I upheld NSBE’s mission “To increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community”. I served with my fellow E-board by providing STEM projects for students to better their technical skills, provided career development and social events, as well as conducted general body meetings and study halls during finals to give Black STEM majors a safe space in the ODU community to be themselves and grow with others.
