Through this Virtual internship, I completed a job simulation where I served as an analyst on Mastercard\u2019s
Security Awareness Team. I started out by identifying and reporting security threats such as phishing and suspicious emails. Then I practiced creating fake phishing emails to test against the simulated employees. After that, I analyzed and identified which areas of the business needed more robust security training and implemented training courses and procedures for those teams. This was a great experience where I learned what it was like to be a security analyst and use my wits and knowledge to practice social engineering and followed a structured process to disseminate that information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
