My grandmother always tells me about how I was singing before I could even talk. I have been singing for as long as I can remember. Growing up I was in the church choir. I always had lead solos even when I was as young as four years old. As I got older I wanted to experience music in other ways so I joined the churches step team. Joining the step team I learned to make my own music using different body parts. Once I got to middle school I joined the band and played the saxophone. I was the best saxophone player they had. I loved playing the saxophone because I could make music in yet another way. Eventually I started to miss singing. I missed making music with my voice and expressing myself through song so in eighth grade I joined the choir at school and stayed in choir all throughout high school. In high school I was apart of a different part of choir. I was involved in the show choir. In show choir you dance and sing&#8230;you put on a show. This was another way to express my love for music.
