So far I have had a lot of problems with my essays. They have a ton of punctuation errors and sentences that ramble way too much. I’m trying to find new ways to fix these problems and make sure I can pass the final.

One of my biggest issues is rambling and making my sentences way too long. The problem I face is that I have too much to say and don’t know how to connect it all. The way to fix this is to find where I can place a period and make one long sentence into 3 shorter sentences.

My punctuation is terrible so far. I’m not putting commas where I need to and putting commas where I don’t need them. This is one of my biggest issues. The problem is that my high school teachers didn’t correct me about this. I was in AP classes, so my teachers should have been tougher on me, so I would be prepared in college. A major solution to this slow down and re-read my sentences to make sure I know where to put the correct punctuation marks. This is a issue I have always had, I just go way to fast and make silly mistakes.

My last issue is my use of plural nouns. This was another thing that my high school teachers didn’t critique me on. The only solution to this issue is slowing down and re-reading my sentences. This is one of the reasons I didn’t pass the first exam that took place before college started.

The good thing is that I know what I need to work on and I have a lot of time before the final exam. I just need to make sure I slow down when I write my essays.
