In this class, I have learned many different things I did not know before. One thing I enjoyed learning a bit about was how stress makes cells react. I am going to college here for marine biology, and even though I have yet to take a marine biology course, I know that cell biology will have a major correlation with what I will eventually be studying. Even marine animals undergo stress that can react with their cells. One major stressor in the ocean is the rising temperatures. This is one of the major causes of coral bleaching. Going into a little detail about coral bleaching is that when the coral is under the stress of heat releases something known as Zooxanthella, which I spoke about in my Draw a Cell.
