I have worked in cytology since 2008 spanning across 4 states caring for patients in the private sector as well as the Federal Government. I wanted to earn a graduate degree in a closely aligning field which works to prevent illness. Public health with a concentration in global environmental health accomplishes that.

• Growing concerns about the global climate as well as the environment have been the biggest attraction for me. The demand for environmental health professionals will continue to grow in trying to mitigate these crises.
