I am originally from Southern Maryland, specifically Huntingtown. I received my Associate of Arts degree at College of Southern Maryland but transferred to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia to pursue my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. After some complications with dental hygiene, I recently changed my major to psychology. I am truly passionate about psychology and am still trying to figure out the right career path for myself. For that reason, I am taking this course. I love learning about all different aspects of psychology, and I am hoping that taking different psychology classes will help to provide some clarity on what career I will take on after college. I have found that I have a great interest in child psychology. I find it intriguing to learn about development and the multiple aspects associated with children. I look forward to utilizing my psychology courses in order to determine what career choice is the right fit for me.
