This course was an in-depth study of cultural development and communications across various cultures. We looked at case studies, texts, lectures, articles, and more. We discussed the social and cultural use of language and meaning. The purpose of this class was to adopt a multicultural perspective and keep an open mind when interacting and working with people from different backgrounds. We viewed how culture and language impact writing, behaviors, and perspective. This class has helped me sharpen my intercultural communication skills and help me think about culture and language in a much deeper way.
