I am pursuing a major of Nursing with wanting to become a neonatal nurse. I chose nursing because I love working with other people and making them feel better. I also chose nursing because when I was young I was born with asthma. I came out my mother wheezing and it made me realize what I actually wanted to do with my life. I was in and out of the hospital all the time as a young child so I came up with the career of becoming a nurse because of the way I had been treated. I enjoyed my nurses and the way they showed me love. So i just want t give back the love that I was shown to the sick babies. I have had experience being in the Labor and Delivery Room for an entire 3 months during the summer of 2015. I have occasionally worked at daycare’s as an assistant to the teachers. I have often shadowed my pediatrician and helped her out during the day with her patients.
