I have not tried any new strategies simply because whenever I was to study I was already making things apply to my life. I don’t really study in small groups because I am a goofy person and I think I would be the most distracting one out of everybody. I do work with like one person though when I study.

I often study in my room but there is often no distractions because my roommates are either sleeping or inside class. I occasionally go to the library or I will sit outside when it isn’t raining out. There are distractions often outside with people walking by and or speaking while I am studying. I tend to study at different times of the day depending on what day it is. I often feel tired during certain times of the day. I am tired many aspects of the day. It all depends. My studying at times can be effective and non-effective at times. I can approve my studying time by putting my distractions away and focusing on what needs to be done.

College has not been my expectation because I expected freedom but not as much freedom as I thought. I am really on my own and must strive for things for myself now. I talk to my mom, but not as much as I talked to her during high school. I didn’t really realize the things that were being handed to me as a child that I don’t get as an adult now. I legit do things on my own, budget my own money, and find my own money. College has been a wakeup call for me and it made me realize the things I need to focus on more. College has truly opened my eyes to being spoiled. Before I came to college I was very spoiled and coming to college made me appreciate everything that my family had done for me growing up. It’s very tough for me because I was raided spoiled and it hard for me to de-attach myself from getting everything that I want from having to work for it on my own. Being on my own has shown me appreciation for the love that my family had showed me.

I have encountered the problem of a huge chemistry class that distracts me just by sitting their listening to the professor talk about her lecture. I can use the SI session for chemistry class to help me and I can go to my professors’ office hours. I have gone to her office 3 times now about problems that I had encountered while being in her class. I really don’t know all of the resources that I have right now so I can’t really have a question about it. I will have more questions when I actually learn more about all of them that I have. My roommates have occasionally helped me study for many quizzes and exams that I have had and I appreciate them so much for that. We often help each other as much as possible succeed in our field that we want to accomplish. I enjoyed going to the Gamma Sigma Sigma meeting because I enjoy what they stand for. I enjoy all the things they do to give back to the community. I also love that they are very diverse and very loving!

My learning style is the sensor feeling.
