I instantly chose this meme when attempting this assignment. Cell biology is obviously the study of the cell and its function, structure, and behavior. Throughout the semester I can say that understanding the cell was much more complicated than I was expecting. From mitosis (cell growth) to the entrance of an infection, cell receptors are proteins that are either inside or on the surface of the cell in which is it receives a signal and allows change activity of the cell. There have been many instances throughout the semester in which diagrams and pictures were projected to demonstrate the proteins and receptors responsibilities during certain cell biology processes. At times it can get challenging trying to remember the different types of receptors and what their significance is to the cell. Overall, receptors and proteins play a very important role when it comes to activity that may be trying to enter and exit the cell.
