As the semester comes to an end, I can truly say that this course has been very beneficial. This course gives an understanding on the structure and functions of cells in organisms. The processes that these individual cells go through, and how they interact within the body in their environment are all helpful information that can be learned as a student who majors in biology. Specifically within this course, we understood how the cell operates, as well as how they survive during their healthy and diseased states. We’ve learned the different organelles within the cell, and how they all have an important role to making the cell operate correctly. This is very important to know for students who are science majors or have hopes to work into the medical field because it can lead to a further understanding to such ideas as developing new vaccines. Overall, this semester has been a blast and I appreciate all the time and effort that has been put into this class!
