Top artifact #1 – Module 7

In module 7, I was comparing attitudes and behaviors. I think attitudes and behaviors coincide. If I believe in something or side one way, my behaviors toward that topic should relate to that attitude. If someone attitude and behaviors don’t coincide, that gives an example of hypocrisy. For example, if I am very passionate about helping people succeed, and wanting to do anything to help people succeed, but then I get in a situation and I purposely do something that will not help them succeed, my attitude and behaviors do not match up. It is very important to make sure someones attitude and behaviors match.

This is a quote about attitude, to always be accountable for actions and also keep up a good consistent attitude.

Top artifact #2 -Module 6

In module 6 I had to dig deep in my personality traits in different situations. In many situations a lot of the same personality traits can be shown, just in very different ways. Even though I could be going through 2 completely different and opposite situations, I can still show signs of utilizing the same personality traits just in a different way. After thinking about this, I am going to start analyzing situations I am in and determining which personality trait is the strongest, as well as how they are being used. And then comparing the situations and personality traits to see if there were any similar traits.

These are my personality traits and situations i was in that week. After doing this assignment, I have been more aware about my personality traits coming out in different situations.

Top artifact #3- Module 11

In module 11 I learned about people being happy, unhappy, selfish, and unselfish. Usually, the happier people are also the people are unselfish. Which is common because when people are happy, they tend to want to make other people happy as well. In order to do so, they have to be able to be selfless and do things for other people. I never really thought about this type of concept before and determining if unhappy or happy people feel selfish or unselfish. This can also be related to people going through different situations though. Because even though someone is happy and also unselfish, if it is a bad situation, this person could end up being selfish.

    Happy Unhappy

 Selfish  3 1
 Unselfish  4 2

This is the table that determined who was selfish and unselfish as well as happy or unhappy. My results matched the usual results.

Top artifact #4- Module 8:

In module 8 I learned that there are still stereotyping in todays society. Until I did this assignment I never really thought about stereotyping that much, but I do think that there has been less stereotyping over the years. Although stereotyping does not always have to be negative, it could just be grouping people together in a similar way, not so much negative way. But over the years since people are more open about who they are, people have also become more accepting. Which has ultimately decreased the negative stereotyping.

This image portrays what stereotyping is, although it is not always negative, stereotyping should be limited.

Top artifact #5 -Module 3:

I learned about the attraction of opposites in this module. Some may say that similarities attract more, but other may say that opposites attract more. In my opinion, I think opposites attract more. Even though 2 people can be opposites to each other, they can also have many similarities as well which also helps with the attraction.

This is my notes on opposites and similarities.
