For this blog, we completed a General Self-Efficacy Scale along with what we are learning about self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is the belief in onces self that one can control their emotions to complete a task. For the survey, we had to read 10 questions and answer with the numbers 1-4. One being that the question is not at all true, two being hardly true, three being moderately true, and five being that question asked is exactly true. Once down you need to add up all the numbers and see the results. Also, the overall scores can range from 10-to 40. My overall score on the General Self-Efficacy Scale was high. I got a 32 which means that I have general self-efficacy. For the most part, I agree with the results that I got. I believe this because for the first job I had to keep composure in order to complete my work. I worked at a grocery store and at the end of the day I had to organize all of the dairy and frozen aisles. Also had to move pallets of frozen products to the freezer and had to do all of this on my own. Also have had to do this for school because I would procrastinate on assignments. However, I do work better and am more focused when I am working under pressure.
