Overall assignment 1 was a very interesting thing to read about and research about. I learned what heuristic was and the different types of heuristics there are. Not only that but also the negative impacts that can come from heuristic. That of stereotyping and or creating prejudice towards other groups of people. Also creates the negative expectation that the same results will happen again in certain situations. This assignment was extremely relevant to me and to my life. An example where the representativeness heuristic was used was when I was in high school and went up to the student and asked him about the homework. However, this wasn’t a student it was actually a younger teacher for the class I was in. My mind just causally categorized the teacher as a student only because they looked young. A connection to something in life is the lesson of not to judge a book by its cover. Below is a funny meme that I chose to pick fun at heuristic.

For assignment 2 we had to choose at least six photos of ourselves that we believe best represents what type of person we are. I decided to choose a selection of photos from different times of my life. The reason I did this is that I wanted to write and see how much I have changed over the years. From photos of my family and me to photos of my friends and me, This assignment was really eye-opening in helping me reflect on myself and how much I have changed over the years. I also enjoy looking at how far I have come over the years and when I’m on my own I often think about where I began and where I am right now. Doing this assignment really humbles me because It reminds me of how need to get going in life and succeed in whatever I am interested in. With the photos selected I also wanted to show how important my friends and family were to me. One of the pictures I chose was of me and my friends at my senior prom. Chose this photo because these are childhood friends that I have been with me for most of my life and it’s honestly unbelievable how we graduated high school already.

In this assignment, we were instructed to fill out a survey to find out what type of lover you are in a romantic relationship. I am currently not in a relationship however I field the survey as if I was in one. Overall I enjoyed the experience of finding what type of lover I am. It was really interesting and entertaining to do and I would recommend other couples to try it. Also opened my eyes to how other people think in a relationship. As well as wanting to help others from getting themselves in toxic relationships just because I know what some people want. The image chosen is what I believe represents what love is like a big confusing equation that no one knows how to solve.

Overall doing nice things for people for this assignment was really enjoyable. It was something that really helped me because it helped me to truly express my gratitude and appreciation for my parents something that I couldn’t do before. Also helped me to become more getting out of my comfort zone and try to become more outgoing. I know I didn’t have to pick a stranger to do a nice deed to but I wanted to because I really wanted to challenge myself instead of doing something nice to someone I know. Something that I learned was that someone could be having a bad day and a simple nice jester could lighten up the rest of their day. Also could make them into a better person and urge them to do something nice for someone else and create a chain reaction of people being nice to one another. The picture below is a quote that remembered that perfectly explains my thoughts and what I believe.
