Part C Prewriting

I say… They say…
  • Kneeling is a good way to stand up against the injustice and unequal rights that is occuring in our country at this time
  • They  should continue to protest until we accomplish the reasoning behind it all.
  • They should not care about the attendance they should care about the country getting equal treatment.
  • Some people say that the protest that is occuring in the NFl is show disrespect to our nation as a whole
  • The players need to stop protesting before things become out of hand.
  • Trump states that NFL attendance and being destroyed due to the protest

I need to investigate more of the reasoning behind the protest. Why are players protesting? I also need to investigate more on the reasoning why people tend to talk down on the players protesting. Why they tend to not disagree with the players opinion. MAny fans throughout the league tend to disagree with the player that kneel during the national anthem. I have not explored all the players that decided to speak out on the protest. Why did the NFL, not come out and a speak against the players sooner?

When the writer used direct quotes he used he made sure he used the author name at the conclusion of the sentence. The author summarized the sources after the first pargraph  and in the middle of each paragraph.

Why is often better to paraphrase in a research paper?

Is gives the reader a better understanding that the writer understand the meaning of the quote.
