Article Review 2

Within International Journey of Cybersecurity Intelligence and Crime, speaks on many current-day matters within the the cybersecurity field. The article goes into detail about how to properly find and understand causes, patterns, and trends within the cyber security and crime field.

Initial review

I would argue that the main strength of this article is how in depth it speaks on certain topics, it truly helps you understand the full scope of these matters and gives you great conclusions. This would become extremely useful in an academic sense as it gives many different approaches and perspectives on cyber security and computer science matters.

Understanding the use of Artificial Intelligence in cybercrime

The article talks about how the reasons for doing these cybercrimes, while it is known that the main reason is money this article goes into detail about why they choose certain job sectors. They speak on how the healthcare market is a main attacking point for cyber crimes. This can be mostly due to so much information being given to this sector in the field as banking info, health information, and many more things are given to this workforce. It then goes on to speak about how Artificial intelligence has helped these cybercriminals. Even though AI is used a lot in these crimes they point out how the research to help us defend against this is extremely lacking. Overall this article is very useful in viewing our current day use of artificial intelligence and how we should try to defend against it.

Cyber Victimization in the Healthcare Industry

This is another article that speaks on the cyber victimization in the healthcare industry, the difference though is this talks more about the victims and what makes them so vulnerable. Overall the main reason that they come to this is that the people who are dealing with the healthcare industry are so vast. You have young and old people all alike with all their information ripe for the picking.

Integrated Model of Cybercrime Dynamics: A Comprehensive

Framework for Understanding Offending and Victimization

in the Digital Realm

This last part of the article speaks on both the Victims and the offenders of cybercrimes. It talks about how the cybersecurity industry is so vast and yet so many ways of entering that it is almost impossible to keep up with it all. As something new comes in to protect us something new also pops up to make it even more difficult to protect. Overall I view this article as a reminder of what we have come to learn about in this class on how vast the cybersecurity industry truly is.
