You will be prompted, weekly, for various items to archive. Please refer to the Google Docs document in the e-Portfolio folder in Bb, which will provide tips on how to store and organize these artifacts. By the time this component of your eP is due, you will have a rich repository from which to draw. You will choose the top five artifacts that you believe best represent your learning experience in this course. Each item should contain a representative picture and a summary for why it was selected, including why it is representative of your learning experience.
Artifact 5
Number 5 on my archive list is Module 10 Archive “How Long Can You Wait?”. I enjoyed this assignment because it really puts into perspective the concept of categorization. Oftentimes unconsciously we group people into classifications. In this exercise it is revealed how we group people based on importance and who is worthy of our time. Below I chose to include an image of the amount of additional time I allotted each partner.

Artifact 4
Number 4 on my archive list is Module 7 Archive “Self-construal and Emotion”. This archive was interesting to me because I was able to really dissect times that I was happy. Writing down times you have been happy in the past allows you to determine what the common denominator between each of the episodes are. I found that most of my “happy episodes” were associated with socially disengaged emotions. Meaning times that I separated or disengaged myself from social relationships were times I felt the happiest. Below I chose to include an image of the Chrysler Art Museum because one of my happy “episodes” was when I went to the museum alone.

Artifact 3
Number 3 on my archive list is Module 13 archive “Happiness”. This archive was similar to number 4 in the sense that it requires you to recall what makes you happy. I really enjoyed brainstorming and just taking the time to really sit and reflect on what truly makes me happy. I learned that although physical health is a big part of what makes me happy, mental health and inner peace is what makes me the happiest. I chose the image below because having a healthy mind, body, and spirit is what truly makes me happy.

Artifact 2
Number 2 on my archive list is Module 3 archive “Cultural Item”. This archive was fun to complete because I had a chance to reflect on my culture. The item that I chose was very random but was a specific roasting pan. In African American culture fellowship, especially over food, is the center of our culture. Over food, which is commonly referred to as “soul food”, we all gather together to connect, reflect, and share with one another. You can commonly find this roasting pan in many African American households across the world. Below is an image of the pan I am referring to.

Artifact 1
Number 1 on my archive list is Module 11 archive “Color & Emotion”. This archive by far was my favorite archive in this course. It’s interesting how we unconsciously associate color with emotion. This exercise really makes you think about the effects that color has on your emotions and what emotions are associated with specific colors. Below is a chart that is similar to my color and emotion associations.
