James River Home Health and Hospice (JRHH) is located at 9100 Arboretum Pkwy #290, Richmond, VA 23236. They are a home health and hospice agency. Locally owned and operated, James River Home Health and Hospice has been serving Central Virginia since 2013. JRHH was founded by Shane Maley, who has over 20 years of experience in medical service and patient care. JRHH specializes in post-medical event or diagnosis care, particularly for patients who need in-home healthcare after diagnoses such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The mission of James River Home Health and Hospice is to “knowledgeably and compassionately meet the needs of our clients and their families by listening, planning, and delivering individualized home care of the highest quality. James River Health Home Health (JRHH) was formed out of a necessity to care for patients after medical events or diagnosis that required in-come care.” 

Alexis Phillips is currently the Lead CNA at JRHH , although her role extends far beyond patient care. She also manages the administrative responsibilities related to patient care, coordinating services and ensuring that each patient’s needs are being met. Her expertise lies in both patient care and administrative coordination, giving her a broad understanding of the operational and clinical aspects of the organization. She plays a key role in the delivery of individualized home care and helps streamline communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
