Explain how the principles of science relate to cybersecurity.

The Principles of Science can and are related to everything that we do. Cyber-Security is one of the topics that has a lot of gray areas in morale so it makes even more sense how these can be related. Relativism is something that pertains to mean that all things are related. With cybersecurity relativism can relate to the different connections of computers and servers that all more or less create the same thing. The internet is a great example of something that everyone uses that is connected. Objectivity involving cyber-security is kind of difficult especially when trying to decide to cyber crimes work. It is definitely important that objectivity be used in a social science perspective. Parsimony is something that is important when researching something as technical as cyber-security. It is important to make it as simple as possible for a wider audience to understand how theories or proposals work in the field. A lot of these principles; although possible with most subjects; are easier to discuss with something as straightforward as cyber-security itself. This comes into work with Empiricism which means that social scientists can only study behavior which is real to the senses. This works really well in cybersecurity. Working with computers should not be based on having a feeling or let emotions make the decisions. Cybercrime and cybersecurity are things that should be kept mostly technical. Determinism as well with this. We should take the facts in more than anything. In a profession like cyber-security it matters what happens not what we think will happen.
