Cyber security may be one of the newer fields of study in the technology field but it still presents a plentiful of new job opportunities that allow for more people to be employed. With the continuation and advancements in technology there are many new positions needed to be filled in order to come up with new ways to stop new threats. With the increase in cyber crime around the world, more jobs that deal with solving the crimes and investigating them. Along with that there are jobs that deal with the people behind the attacks that deal with why the person committed the crime, what lead to it, and what can they do to prevent it. The previous job I have stated can also be incorporated into narrowing out who may be the cause of an attack. With an increase in cyber bulling at younger ages, social media companies hire cyber security to assure that the site is more of a safe place for the users. Also with the rise in online activity more phishing sites are luring people into there scams and they are taking over peoples accounts. Because of the phishing sites and accounts, social media sites are implementing cyber security protocols in order to stop phishing scams from continuing. With the governments around the world having an abundance of information that is on a need to know basis, they need people to protect that information in order to keep there country safe. Also with peoples personal devices and the information on those devices being extremely personal, many people decide to hire someone to help keep their information safe from intruders. Banks have been changing from paper money to digital money, so they especially need cyber security positions in order to keep the money safe form hackers. In conclusion, with the ever growing world of technology, now more than ever jobs are opening up in order to keep people and companies and even countries safe from those who wish them harm.
