My parallel major for if I don’t get I into my intended major would be Environmental Health. I chose this major because when I was reading the description, I was really intrigued by it. And the salary is pretty good which is a plus. I was also was intrigued by the different jobs you could work with this degree. Some interesting facts about this major would be you can work to better the environment and its conditions especially in developing nations. You can also clean the water and food supply for the people in the world. With this major one can potentially stop environmental hazards which is the 25% of the leading cause of disease.  I would have to take additional classes will need more biology classes and a communications class. I can gain professional experience to learn about this study by going to an information session or ask can I shadow someone who works in that field. This major isn’t outside the College of Health Sciences.
