      WHAT WE DO<\/h1>

      This project connects university resources with coastal resilience needs of community partners. The project will create and disseminate a comprehensive toolkit for use by university faculty, staff, and students, and partner organizations or groups to pursue collaborative university-community projects focused on addressing coastal resilience issues. The toolkit will include resources to support engagement efforts throughout project development and execution, provide examples of successful collaborative projects, and highlight best practices for university and community partners to work together on the topic of coastal resilience.<\/h3><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      Wie<\/span> Yusuf<\/span><\/div>\n
      \n

      Wie Yusuf is a Professor in the School of Public Service at Old Dominion and Assistant Director for Education with the ODU Institute for Coastal Adaptation and Resilience. She is also a Virginia Sea Grant extension partner and leads the Virginia Climate Adaptation and Resilience Program that is a joint program between Virginia Sea Grant and Old Dominion University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Marina<\/span> Saitgalina<\/span><\/div>\n
      \n

      Dr. Marina Saitgalina is an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Service at Old Dominion University. Her areas of research include public administration, nonprofit management, nonprofit-government collaborations, and emergency management. Her focus is on cross-disciplinary, applied, and community-engaged research, with commitment to open-access research and education projects that maximize the benefit to the public, communities, and government work. Her work has been published in Public Management Review, Administration & Society, and Journal of Public and Nonprofit Affairs among others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Afi Anuar is a Research Associate with the ODU Institute for Coastal Adaptation and Resilience, and a Lecturer for Department of Engineering Technology. His background in data analytics, engineering and technology (website design, photography) provides crucial support to the success of this program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
