Digital Forensics and Its Connection to Social Sciences

While I was watching the video, I understood how important the digital forensics were. How his complex journey from accountant to transitioning to a tech-heavy role shows the different skills that can be used in this digital forensics field. I have noticed that this career can be related to social sciences because it requires understanding the human factor, making decisions, and knowing the societal structure to understand crimes and solve them. For example, this required tracing fraud and identifying who is behind it; however, not just technical knowledge but also having the skills to clarify the motives of individuals within the organization or social. Moreover, one of the stories Davin Teo has mentioned was a covert torrent network inside the company, which can show the importance of behavioral analysis and not sharing information with others, both critical in the social sciences. Digital forensics should be saved because it can be used in courts and it should be related to law and ethics. I love how Davin Teo adapts to different jobs during his career and how he faces these challenges.
