Much of the course involved discussion-based assignments that required analyzing leadership concepts and responding to guided questions about character, behavior, and ethical leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key themes we explored was the idea of a \u201cmensch\u201d and what it means to be compassionate in leadership. Assignments asked questions such as how and in what situations a mensch demonstrates compassion and how strong leaders build and maintain relationships. These reflections were supported by course readings and articles that we analyzed and referenced in our responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another major assignment in the course was a book review of <em>The Culture Code<\/em> by Daniel Coyle. The book examines how effective teams develop trust, communication, and a shared sense of purpose. It also emphasizes fairness, integrity, and the importance of valuing each person\u2019s contribution in building strong team environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, this course helped me think more critically about leadership as something that is shaped by behavior, ethics, and relationships rather than position or title.
