The definition of workplace deviance is deliberate, malicious attempts to sabotage an organization by causing problems in the workplace. Some of those acts maybe the spreading of rumors, bullying within the workplace, property theft, sabotage, fraud, data theft, lying, and sexual harassments within the workplace. Being that cybersecurity is becoming bigger and increasing day by day it makes it easier for people to commit more deviant acts within the workplace. Sending messages to one another or maybe even accessing a coworkers social medias trying to find stuff to use against them. Or maybe even just accessing important information that they should not have access to in hopes to use it. Like maybe if someone was let go from a company and was very upset about it. and they were to access lets say the company sever and get a hold of payroll information, or a colleagues personal information. Or they could still work in the workplace and can be contacted by an outside source to access a certain file for a certain amount of money. Cyber technology has made it all possible for someone to do these things.
