Ever since I was younger I have been interested in any technology there was. I always had a special love for computers and found it very easy to manage. Seeing my favorite streamers gaming and using technology to their advantage also gave me a push into this direction. Family can often play a significant role in shaping our career paths, and that’s exactly what happened in my case. Growing up knowing that I had a close aunt that is deep into the cybersecurity field also gave me a good confidence boost that this is the field that I belong to. Having a close relative thriving in a field you’re interested in can be incredibly motivating and comforting. I know that she will be willing to offer insights and guidance as I navigate my own journey Within this field of cyber security. Networking in any job is extremely important and fundamental, so knowing that I have an easy way into this world where family members can introduce me to their colleagues at such a young age is a very determining factor. Knowing that this is a new and extremely fast growing field is very exciting and important to me, I always desire to grow and learn more in this field.  Another aspect that I share is my desire to problem solve. Knowing that I may be able to help others solve their problems or fears with my knowledge is extremely important to me. One can never be too careful with all the up and coming technological advances in today’s world. While yes, it may be wonderful to expand and grow with new things, we must also realize that technology is extremely harmful if exposed to the wrong individuals. This is why it is extremely important to have more people within this field to stop and protect anyone that may need it.
