Journal Entry 1

After reviewing the NICE Workforce Framework, I think the major areas I would like to focus my career on would be using existing task, knowledge, and skill (TKS) statements. These seem like a fun place to be, since it would constantly be moving and changing. Every day you could update and improve what you are working on, which I think would let me achieve a great sense of pride. It would be something where I would continually have to adapt to new things, and it would be an area of consistently getting better. The area that would probably appeal the least to me would be competencies. I do not think I would like to be involved in the hiring process, since there really would not need to be much actual improvement made to anything. The only real thing that would change would be the actual requirements for the positions.
